Over 700 wealth management professionals attended this year’s PWMA Wealth Management Summit with the theme: “Expanding Outreach, Extending Connectivity, Expediting Growth”.  For the first time since 2019, the summit took place in person, with livestreaming made available as well.

Ronnie Chan of Hang Lung Properties, Nicolas Aguzin of HKEx, Laurence Li of the Financial Services Development Council and Stephen Phillips of InvestHK kicked off the day with an inspiring panel discussion of Hong Kong’s future direction as a global financial hub. Leaders from Bank of China (Hong Kong) Limited, Morgan Stanley Bank Asia Limited, Bank Julius Baer and BNP Paribas Wealth Management later shared their perspectives on fostering sustainable growth.

Regulation, ESG, alternatives, discretionary portfolio management, digital innovation, Regtech and talent development were among the other topics covered in the programme.  The event also addressed themes related to the Mainland China market, including the future demand for financial services and the evolving needs of mainland clients.
