PWMA Apprentices and Mentors visiting homes for elderly with fortune bags

On 5 August, PWMA’s annual Apprenticeship Community Service Projects concluded with a partnership with Sunshine Actions visiting 60 elderly homes in Sham Shui Po district.

The project team and their mentor Anna Wang partnered with Sunshine Actions to distribute 100 fortune bags containing food and daily necessities and chatted with the beneficiaries. The visits were fulfilling to all participants including apprentices, firm representatives Alex Chan, Jacqueline Lam, Sunshine Action ambassadors, Sham Shui Po District Councillor Ms. Lau Pui-yuk and volunteers from the Kowloon Women’s Organizations Federation Ltd. They were motivated to share love and positive energy for the elderly in need in the district. Apprentices across different firms also cherished that opportunity to get together and expand their network.

A heartfelt thank you to the Organizing Committee of this event: Tina Kwan, Ashley Lau and Jason Kwok, and to Sunny Mak from the Sunshine Action.
