PWMA is thrilled to have successfully co-organized the fourth edition of the Hong Kong Swiss Financial Seminar together with the Swiss Bankers Association (SBA) on 4 November 2020.

Every year, this event brings together prominent speakers from the public and private sectors together to share insights about the development of the financial sector in Hong Kong and Switzerland. The seminar was conducted virtually this year in light of the Covid-19 situation, but was no less successful than in previous years, drawing over 100 attendees.

We are grateful to all our special guest speakers, especially Mr. Edmond Lau, Senior Executive Director of the Hong Kong Monetary Authority and Mr. Stefan Flückiger, Deputy State Secretary and Ambassador of Switzerland’s State Secretariat for International Finance. A highlight of the event was the panel discussion, bringing together specialists from Citi, HSBC, Pictet and UBS to share their views and experience in a lively discussion about Covid-19 pandemic’s impact on private wealth management client demand.
