Private Wealth Management Association (PWMA) in collaboration with the CFA Society Hong Kong hosted a fireside chat and networking drinks session featuring Emmanuelle Pecenicic, a founding member of Web3Women (W3W) and Vivien K., CEO of Private Wealth Management Association (PWMA) last week.

Emma shared her journey on how she became one of the pioneer females in the Web3 space and W3W’s contribution in educating, mentoring and how their group is trying to connect females interested in digital assets and web3 and support their transition in this rapidly evolving industry. W3W brings together a diverse range of perspectives to promote inclusivity and dialogue around Web3 topics. She also shared her perspectives on how she sees the future developments on crypto, specifically on crypto ETFs.

The day of the session also happened to fall on Bitcoin Pizza Day, where Emma and Vivien discussed some fun facts about the programmer that made history on the same day in 2010 purchasing 2 pizzas using 10,000 BTC.

With Web3 and Digital Assets being a topic of great interest for younger bankers, there was good representation from the PWMA Apprentice Alumni group. It was an informal but educational session, fostering greater collaboration between private wealth management and CFA communities, creating valuable cross-industry connections and dialogues.
