In the spirit of community engagement, PWMA challenged students enrolled in the Apprenticeship Programme for Private Wealth Management to come up with ideas for community service projects with the guidance from the mentors and execute their plans in the summer. We’re pleased to say the exercise was a success, helping students attached to different firms to work together with their mentors for the common good.
On July 26, 2023, members of the PWMA Executive committee, the CEO, apprentices’ mentors and other PWMA representatives enjoyed a networking lunch with selected apprentices to recognize their efforts in planning Community Service Projects, campus promotion and organizing various activities. With this opportunity, the three Community Service project teams put their plans in the action were invited to share their valuable experiences, partnership with NGOs, some event photos and interview videos etc. To recognize their efforts, the teams (see below) received the certificates from Peter Stein, PWMA CEO and Managing Director and their mentors, Raynard Cheng, Peter Tung and Anna Wang. The ongoing support from the Apprenticeship Alumni Association chaired by Tony Au in promoting the Programme was also appreciated. All students and participants with industry leaders, who answered their questions and shared their own experiences, providing useful information to help them think through their future career prospects.
