As Hong Kong continues to strengthen its position as a top private wealth management hub globally, it is a good time to reflect on the journey the industry has undergone, and to see the future of where it’s going.
To tell this story, PWMA brought together two senior leaders from the industry as well two Next Gen private wealth professionals to engage in a cross-generational dialogue on the state of the industry and on the private banking career:
Peter Tung of Standard Chartered Bank
Kanas Chan of Deutsche Bank
Tony Au of HSBC
Renee Song of J.P. Morgan
Over the course of one hour, the audience was treated to an engaging and interactive discussion: senior speakers shared their success stories and gave tips to young bankers on how to shine in their careers, the young bankers also shared their thoughts on the importance of keeping up with market trends to deepen client relationships. One piece of advice they have in common: embrace changes in this ever-changing business world.
Following the panel discussion, attendees stayed and became acquainted with peers in the industry over drinks and canapes. Our sincere thanks go to Standard Chartered Bank for being such a generous host for an amazing evening!
