So great to hear from the many thoughtful speakers who joined us at the second annual Family Office Symposium on Tuesday, January 19! A part of Hong Kong’s flagship Asian Financial Forum (AFF), the Symposium was, like the rest of the AFF, held virtually this year. Topics covered ranged from the 2021 investment outlook and asset allocation ideas for family offices, increasing institutional adoption of cryptoassets and the factors affecting investment into private versus public markets. Our thanks to the Hong Kong Trade Development Council for its support in co-organizing this event, to Hong Kong Monetary Authority Senior Executive Director Edmond Lau for his thoughtful comments on Hong Kong’s rise as a family office hub and to all our excellent speakers.
