To engage the younger generation in community services, PWMA for the fourth year running invited apprentices in the Pilot Apprenticeship Programme for Private Wealth Management to come up with ideas for community service projects. This exercise successfully brought apprentices together from different firms to collaborate for the common good.
Apprentices were asked to form teams and submit competing proposals, which were presented to a PWMA panel of judges. The winning team (see below) then worked closely with PWMA to carry out their “The Green Nature, The Clean Nature” plan. On June 30, 2021, members of the PWMA Executive committee, the Managing Director and other PWMA representatives enjoyed a virtual networking lunch with the finalists of the competition. The winning apprentice team were presented with certificates to recognize their outstanding performance.
This summer, around 40 apprentices will be joining the field trips in Lung Fu Shan and Sai Kung, taking place on two Saturdays. These hikes not only raise the awareness of environmental protection but also provide a nice opportunity for apprentices to get to know each other.
